Frequently asked questions.
Answers on technology, treatment and application — for Armstrong Body and the Pelvic Chair.
What is magnetic muscle stimulation?
Armstrong uses high-intensity electromagnetic pulses (HIFEM+) that mimic the body’s natural nerve signals to the muscles, triggering far stronger contractions than could ever be achieved through regular training.
Is the technology scientifically proven?
Yes. Clinical studies conducted with established methods such as CT, MRI and histology demonstrate an average increase in muscle volume of approximately 25%.
Where does the technology come from?
The underlying technology was originally developed for spaceflight, where weightlessness leads to rapid muscle loss. Armstrong applies the same principle to accelerate muscle development in a targeted way.
Is the treatment safe and non-invasive?
Yes. All Armstrong systems are entirely non-invasive — no needles, no surgery and no downtime. The treatment is carried out fully clothed.
How do Armstrong Body and the Pelvic Chair differ?
Body activates the body’s large muscle groups — arms, legs, abdomen and glutes. The Pelvic Chair specifically strengthens the pelvic floor muscles while seated. The same magnetic muscle stimulation, two different applications.
Is the treatment painful?
No. The treatment is non-invasive and carried out fully clothed. You feel intense but comfortable muscle contractions — no needles, no pain.
How long does a session take?
A session takes approximately 30 minutes, fully clothed. There is no downtime afterwards — you can return straight to your everyday routine.
When will I see first results?
Visible changes usually appear after a series of sessions over several weeks. Clinical studies demonstrate an average increase in muscle volume of approximately 25%.
Which body zones can be treated?
Armstrong Body is suited to the abdomen, arms, legs and glutes — for targeted muscle building and contouring of the most important muscle groups.
Do I need to recover afterwards?
No. There is no downtime. The deep muscle stimulation even supports active recovery and can be used as a complement to training.
Is the treatment painful?
No. The treatment is non-invasive and carried out fully clothed while seated. Most users feel the muscle contractions but find the session comfortable and pain-free.
How long does a session take?
A session takes approximately 30 minutes, fully clothed. There is no downtime afterwards — you can return straight to your everyday routine.
How many sessions are recommended?
The recommended number of sessions depends on your individual goals and your particular starting point. As a rule, a course of treatment over several weeks is recommended, followed by occasional maintenance sessions. Your personal treatment plan is determined together with your treating professional.
Who is the Pelvic Chair suitable for?
For people with a weakened pelvic floor, with stress or urge incontinence, after childbirth, as well as to support intimate health, well-being and athletic performance. In certain cases (e.g. pregnancy, a pacemaker or metal implants in the treatment area) the treatment is not suitable — a brief personal consultation clarifies whether it can be carried out.
Do I need to undress?
No. The treatment is carried out fully clothed — a key advantage over many other procedures.
Is Armstrong suitable for my practice, clinic or studio?
Yes. Both systems are easy to install and economical to operate. We are happy to advise you personally and without obligation.
Are training and delivery included?
Yes. Training and delivery are included — within the DACH region, delivery is free of charge.
What warranty is provided?
All Armstrong systems come with a 2-year warranty.
How quickly is the system ready for use?
Armstrong is easy to install and ready for use immediately after a brief instruction — with no structural work required.
